Jancis Robinson is a huge fan of Cave St-Verny’s Puy de Dôme Pinot Noir – a juicy, perfumed IGP Auvergne. Having awarded the co-operative’s 2011 vintage 16 points and listed it as one of her ‘Wines of the Week’ in September, she has singled it out yet again as a fantastic value buy. In her latest article for the Financial Times, she reveals that this delicious wine from Central France is one of her favourite reds under £10.
