Join the Swartland Independent Producers for the much-anticipated 2-day Swartland Heritage Festival in Paternoster.
With wines from AA Badenhorst, David & Nadia, FRAM, Mullineux & Leeu, Rall, Testalonga and many other SIP labels, it’s a weekend that no wine-lover should miss. Not to mention, the event’s meals will be prepared by local chef Bertus Basson, who’s career started at The Royal Hotel in Riebeek.
On Friday evening, hear Adi Badenhorst speak during a fun masterclass accompanied by wine and other drinks. Then take part in a Swartland themed wine tasting and taste through various producers spread across the different Swartland soil types and regions. Then sit down to a hearty dinner followed by dancing.
On Saturday, join John Wurdeman, from Pheasants Tears in Georgia, for his international masterclass followed by Rosa Kruger’s talk and old vine tasting. Have a break for lunch before tasting through all the SIP producers’ wines or joining the ‘speaker’s corner’ to hear 30-minute talks by Eben Sadie, Ryan Mostert and other well-known producers.
