Hop up and down the magical Blaauwklippen Valley for an unforgettable day with the wines and vintners of the three boutique wine farms, – Kleinood, Keermont and De Trafford. The 3 participating wine estates, all located in one of the best-kept secret spots in Stellenbosch – the upper Blaauwklippen Valley – will be opening and pouring some very rare and special vinoteque wines.
Wine Cellar has long been a fan of the upper-Blaauwklippen Valley as well as the wine estates involved in this upcoming tasting event. ‘The upper Blaauwklippen Valley could just be Stellenbosch’s new trump card. Here, a vein of fine Syrah runs from Waterford to Kleinood, through Keermont and De Trafford at the top of the valley,’ says Roland Peens, the Director of Wine Cellar.
The regular shuttle between the three boutique farms ensures an easy hop between a variety of exclusive tastings of the individual newly-released, handcrafted vintages, rare and coveted vinoteque wines and well paired culinary treats. While you enjoy the fine wines and breathtaking scenery from different ends of the valley, the winemakers and owners will gladly share their stories, information and philosophy behind these terroir-driven and very unique wineries and wines with you.
In order to ensure a special and very personal experience there will be only 100 tickets available for this event.
