Boekenhoutskloof winemaker Marc Kent is channeling his energy and passion into a new project in the Swartland. Having joined forces with Callie Louw, Kent bought a 173-acre property in the Porseleinberg in 2009, across the valley from Adi Badenhorst’s farm. Syrah is the estate’s main focus, and whilst much of the crop ends up in the Boekenhoutskloof range, the best fruit goes into Kent and Louw’s own wine – a soulful, elegant Syrah (with a very cool label).

Read James Molesworth’s report on the project on Winespectator.com.

Porseleinberg’s maiden 2010 vintage was sold exclusively by Wine Cellar and it flew out the door. Check out the video we made at the estate last year, ahead of the wine’s debut.
