In Pia’s most recent ‘Pick of the Week‘, she recommended DeMorgenzon Maestro White 2011 – an elegant and textured white blend that received 91 points from Decanter. The 2012 vintage has now been released and is another impressive offering from this quirky Stellenbosch estate. The new vintage, which is available at R120 per bottle, is 31% Chenin, with the rest of the blend composed (in roughly equal parts) of Chardonnay, Roussanne and Viognier. Christian Eedes admires the 2012’s concentration and freshness and has awarded it 93 points. You can read his full review here.
