We also offer specialised cellaring services, wine tastings and investment opportunities. Our marketing team is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator to elevate our brand presence both online and offline.
Job Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for executing our digital marketing strategies, with a strong focus on social media, content creation, and SEO. This role requires a creative thinker who can engage with our community, ideate innovative campaigns, and ensure our online presence is constantly evolving. The ideal candidate will have a deep appreciation for wine and for storytelling, helping us to convey our brand’s message across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Management:
Oversee and manage all social media accounts, engaging with our community to foster a strong online presence.
Paid Campaign Management:
Conceptualise, design and manage social media paid campaigns. You will also be responsible for tracking performance, analysing results, and reporting back on campaign effectiveness.
Content Creation:
Regularly update the blog to maintain a strong digital footprint.
SEO & Paid Search:
Continuously implement strategies to enhance the SEO of our website, ensuring it remains optimised and up-to-date. Experience with Google Ads would be a plus.
Email Marketing:
Assist with the creation and distribution of our email campaigns and automations, from crafting copy to assisting the design team.
Event Support:
Attend tastings to capture moments for social media. Provide general support when necessary, contributing to the overall success of our events.
Marketing Collateral:
Assist with the creation of marketing collateral, maintaining our brand identity and optimising the customer experience at every touchpoint.
Team Collaboration:
Provide marketing updates during weekly meetings, ensuring alignment across departments.
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree in English, Marketing or similar
- Proven experience in copywriting and digital marketing, particularly in social media management and paid campaigns
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and content creation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- An interest in fine wine
- Experience with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) and WordPress
- Ability to monitor and analyse metrics to track the success of marketing campaigns (using Google Analytics, Mailchimp, etc.)
- Flexibility to attend events outside regular working hours
- Based in Cape Town
