Craig Hawkins is a leader in natural winemaking – a hip new category that isn’t without controversy. Described by The Drinks Business as an ‘envelope-pushing enfant terrible’, Craig is the chief winemaker of Lammershoek in the Swartland and also produces natural wines under his own label, Testalonga. So what is all the fuss about, and are natural wines really any good? Find out at our upcoming tastings in Cape Town and Johannesburg this August. Hosted by the natural-wine master himself, this is a chance to try Craig’s new Testalonga releases, El Bandito and El Bandito Cortez, as well as the latest Lammershoek and Cellar Foot vintages. We will also taste a range of standout natural wines from France: Domaine Foillard, Hervé Souhaut and Thierry Germain.
