The 7th annual Hemel-en-Aarde Pinot Noir Celebration is taking place this month on the 24th and 25th. This event, intended to highlight and celebrate SA’s world-class Pinot Noirs, will be attended by world-renowned winemakers, wine influencers, esteemed media, epicures and wine lovers, as well as our very own Roland – this year’s master of ceremonies.

Friday festivities kick off when guests are welcomed to ‘Pinot Noir Paradise’. A range of Pinot Noirs will then be presented, ranging from older vintages, carefully selected international Pinot Noirs and selections from private cellars. The evening’s food and wine will entice guests and set the tone for a great day to follow.

On Saturday, guests can look forward to exploring the 3 very unique and distinctive appellations, i.e. Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley and the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge. Here, you will discover all there is to know about Pinot Noir from the viticulturists, winemakers and guest speakers. A lovely harvest-style lunch will follow and guests can look forward to the exclusive Hemel-en-Aarde charity auction later that day. The grand finale dinner will see acclaimed chef Jason Lilley, from Jason’s Bakery, serving food at 4 food stations as well as a decadent dessert selection. Wine bars, local craft beer on tap, and live local acts will bring the celebration to a close.

This celebration is an annual highlight for foodies and wine lovers alike and promises an experience like no other.
