Reyneke is a firm favourite at Wine Cellar and this release is raking in praise from top critics globally. Their new, utterly captivating Estate Range is a masterclass in the Polkadraai Hills. The quality-to-price ratio is unmatched and the wines have already sold out from the farm! Fortunately, we’ve secured a small parcel for you.

The 95-point Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2024 is superb. Brimming with energy and tension, it recently won Best Overall in the Next Generation Awards by winemag.co.za. ‘This is a purposefully elegant and reserved style, and it sings of the Reyneke model,’ agrees Matthew Jukes MW.

The Estate Chenin Blanc 2024 is ‘super-complex and elegant’, notes Jukes. With a near-perfect score of 19/20, this thrilling release is ‘more sculptural and more refined than any Chenin before from this illustrious estate’.

Boasting 95 points from Christian Eedes, the Estate Syrah 2023 ‘will hit the bull’s eye for global Syrah lovers’, says Jukes (18/20). It captures this unique Polkadraai site, offering a hedonistic drinking experience.

Their Estate Cabernet Franc 2023 is winemaker Barbara Melck’s love letter to the variety. ‘The vitality and resonance are spectacular’ (Jukes).

Finally, Cabernet is King in Stellenbosch. Reyneke’s 2023 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is among the finest, showing quiet power, excellent fruit definition and layers of complexity. It’s a no-brainer for Cabernet fanatics.

Using only biodynamic and organic fruit from their estate from here on out, Johan Reyneke and his team are dedicated to producing the ‘best value, best quality wines with the best sustainability credentials’.

Please note that this is a pre-release offer. The wines will be available for collection / delivery from 6 September 2025.

Tasting Notes:

Reyneke Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2024

‘Spontaneously fermented and matured for nine months in 300-litre barrels, partially new. Exuberant aromatics of floral perfume, peach, citrus and a touch of blackcurrant. The palate is poised and flavour-packed – superb clarity of fruit and racy acidity before a saline finish. Light in frame but intense in delivery, a deeply engaging wine.’Winemag.co.za, iTOO Next Generation Awards 2025: Top 10, Best Overall, 95/100

Reyneke Estate Chenin Blanc 2024

‘Coming from the oldest vineyards planted in 1974 and 1976, this wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation in 2500L foudre (1/3) and 500L amphora (2/3), then aged for 10 months. Clean, bright, and stunningly well-balanced, this is neither a full-bodied style nor one that is tropical or weighty. The intensity of the flavour is, however, remarkable as opposed to the power! Super-complex and elegant, this is a thrilling wine, and, again, it appears to be more sculptural and more refined than any Chenin before from this illustrious estate. It is also drinking already, which is baffling! That said, the acidity is stunning and discreet, and this will guard this wine for years to come.’Matthew Jukes, matthewjukes.com, 19/20

Reyneke Estate Syrah 2023

‘30% whole-bunch fermentation. Matured for 16 months in older barrels and 2,500-litre foudre. The nose shows red and black berries, olive, fynbos, cured meat, earth and pepper. Dense fruit, good freshness and nicely grippy tannins making for a finish that’s long and dry. Impressive depth and structure.’Winemag.co.za, iTOO Next Generation Awards 2025: Top 10, First Runner-Up, 95/100, 95/100

Reyneke Estate Cabernet Franc 2023

‘The grapes are destemmed, and subjected to a gentle extraction, with two light pump-overs per day. It is matured for 16 months in second- and third-fill 225l French oak barrels. This wine tastes precisely like it should if you said the words Cabernet Franc and Reyneke! The vitality and resonance are spectacular, and it seems melodic, comfortable in its own skin and gloriously ripe and fruit-driven without being too ‘creamy’. It reminds me of the timbre of the old ‘Reserve Red’, but a lighter and more modern interpretation. Incredible and evocative, this is a love letter to the Cabernet Franc variety, realised by this site and its gentle handling.’Matthew Jukes, matthewjukes.com, 18/20

Reyneke Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2023

‘Matured for 18 months in 225-litre barrels, 100% new. Compelling aromatics of cassis, black cherry, plum, incense, violets, earth, and pencil shavings. The palate is powerful yet balanced, with fruit definition, lively acidity, and supple tannins. Multi-layered and intriguing, it steers clear of easy charm and reveals increasingly more with time in the glass. The finish is super-long and dry. Alc: 13.5%.’Christian Eedes, Winemag.co.za, 96/100
