We’ve tasted the wine from barrel on a couple of occasions and there’s so much to love. Aromatics of violet, lavender and dark red cherry give way to a palate of wonderful clarity and freshness, delivering a level of quality usually seen in wines three or four times the price.

Ultimately, your view of the Rand’s position against major currencies and its long-term trajectory will determine whether to buy or not. WHAT IS BORDEAUX EN PRIMEUR?
Also known as ‘wine futures’, en primeur is the method of purchasing wines early, offering customers the opportunity to secure an allocation while the wines are still in barrel. Purchasing en primeur guarantees the supply and volume of a certain wine and, in most cases, at a better price than the future release price.
